Jerry and I will be at the Waterfowl Festival this weekend.
It won't be our first time at the Festival. Jerry carves and collects decoys. His parents owned Hutch Decoy Carving LTD in the past and exhibited at the Festival for many years. Jerry will be reconnecting with his carving friends and we will spend some quality time together away from our daily work routine.
We are ready for a rejuvenating weekend getting immersed in wildlife arts and crafts and spending time with each other. I plan to take photos to share with you and write about some of my favorite exhibits.
My New Pinterest Board
I listened to Abby Glassenberg's Podcast #60 about Creative Conferences. Midwest CraftCon sounds like a wonderful creative retreat for artists and crafters. I have that one on my wish list for next year. It's scheduled for Feb. 19-21, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
I also received an e-mail from my online friend, Rach. She creates these incredibly original figurative art dolls and has a magical website called Rapunzel's Realm. Rach wrote that her mentors are going to be presenting a seminar at the International Doll and Teddy Bear Show coming to Asheville, North Carolina June 11, 2016.
Are you presenting at a conference, exhibiting at a show, or have you learned of one that you want to share?
You can share your information in the comments below. You can also follow my Pinterest Board about 2016 Creative Conferences and Shows to get updates.
